Friends and family,
again, I've loved this week I've had to
serve in Daytona! We saw a lot
of success with our investigators this
week as they've progressed
towards their baptismal date! This week
I'll just give the highlights!
1) Serena passed her baptismal
Interview! She'll be baptized this
Sunday! She's come such a long way, and
it's great to she how her life
has changed with her living the Gospel!
One of her quotes she loves to
say is "this experience is changing
my life." I love how she says
"changing" rather than
"changed" it just shows how much of a continual
process it is, and how enduring to the
end is vital! Here are some
pictures of her and her step brothers at
her temple tour this week!
2) Mrs Jackson is doing great! She has
her interview this week, and we
are pumped! She's progressing well, and
her concern about the
"monotone hymns" are gone!
Thank heavens for the special musical
number this week :)
3) the Deland Zone was able to attend
the Temple this weekend for our
twice a year Temple Trip! It was great
to go through a session and
feel the spirit that the Temple holds.
Elder Scott and I both agreed
we felt 100x better after going through
the Temple.
4) We had a meeting in Orlando Thursday
morning from 10-2:30, we had
planned to go on a Temple Tour with
Serena Thursday night. Friday
morning at 7:30 was the Zone Temple
Trip, so we got it approved to
stay the night with some missionaries
that live closer to the temple!
It ended up the missionaries we stayed
with was one of my good friends
in the mission, Elder Crismon!
It was an great week and I'm definitely
loving my mission! I'm a
little short on time this week, so I
apologize for the shorter email!
We just got back from going to the shops
over by Daytona Beach! Here
are some pics from the week!
I hope everyone has a great week, and
has some fun! It's amazing to
see how the Gospel changes people. It's
definitely a blessing to see
as a missionary!
